Berlin – Real Berlin Tour
Wow. Wicked day. Saw a pile of street-art, and taken around by one of the most passionate tour guides I have ever seen. Not only for the city, but its people and its history. Wicked!
London Eye – HDR Experiments
We went up the top of the London Eye, then had a bit of a wander around the city – obviously playing around a bit with HDR processing at the moment.
London – Wallace Collection
Get your culture on! Today we visited the Wallace Collection, the Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house. In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays of French 18th century painting, furniture and porcelain with superb Old Master paintings and a world class armory. http://www.wallacecollection.org/
London – Zoo, Regent Park
Yesterday involved a lot of walking. We visited the London Park, which while massive, was half empty, and then Regent Park, where we earned several blisters on the feet. The day ending with Shakespare in the Park, where we watched an excellent performance of ‘The Comedy of Errors’.
London – 1
Landed in London – we are staying with my brother Paul, and his wife Jenny in their new house. Met George, the local squirrel, and have already developed several good blisters from traipsing all over the countryside.
Hong Kong
Here it is, the first of the travel photo posts. No, I am not planning on doing a long winded explanation of what each photo is. Just enjoy the shots. The slide evening can be when I get back. Anyhow, Hong Kong was cool, very very hot, very humid. A lot greener that I expected.
Botanical Roaming
I guess flowers seem a bit of a easy target for photography. However, it is a good way to get back into taking photos. I probally enjoy the post-production process as much as taking the photos, as you can often realise the shot you actually saw in your head.
