I guess flowers seem a bit of a easy target for photography. However, it is a good way to get back into taking photos. I probally enjoy the post-production process as much as taking the photos, as you can often realise the shot you actually saw in your head.

While new technology is always fun, much of it seems to be focused on emulating existing methods of working, or making it easier for the user to achieve things that would traditionally require technical or mechanical skill.
